Day 1 - Cape Town
Arrive Cape Town
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport we will clear immigration and collect our luggage - documents will be provided - private transfer to the Commodore Hotel. The Commodore Hotel is located in the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, perfectly positioned against the stunning backdrop of Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean providing easy access to top places to visit in Cape Town.

Day 2 - Cape Town
Cape Town's vibrant city centre lies in a natural amphitheater sheltered by the wide arms of Table Mountain, Signal Hill and Lion's Head. The tour takes you on a fascinating journey through the city, before heading to the base of Table Mountain. Travel by cable car to the top of the mountain, enjoying spectacular, panoramic views of the city and its mountainous surrounds. This evening join your group for a Welcome Dinner at Den Ankar Restaurant. Drinks are not included.

Day 3 - Cape Town
Visit the Cape Point Nature Reserve. Follow the curves of the Atlantic coastline along magnificent Marine Drive, past the Twelve Apostles, all the way to the quaint fishing village of Hout Bay. Then wind your way towards the Cape Point Nature Reserve, hugging the spectacular cliff sides of Chapman's Peak Drive. Catch a ride up the funicular for a view of the place where the two oceans meet, then visit Boulders Beach to view the penguin colony.

Day 4 - Cape Town
Depart the city and enter the Wineland region of Stellenbosch for a leisurely exploration of the historic wine route towns. Your private tour includes 2 wine tastings, a cellar tour and lunch at Delaire Graaf Restaurant (excluding drinks). In the afternoon enjoy leisure time in the town of Stellenbosch. Day 5 - Cape Town
Morning visit to Robben Island once used by the South African government as a prison for political prisoners and convicted criminals. It is here that Nelson Mandela was imprisoned before the fall of apartheid. Tour includes entrance fees, ferry transfer and local historic guide on the island. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure.

Day 6 - Kapama Private Game Reserve
Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer from the hotel to the airport. Domestic flight from Cape Town to Hoedspruit. Transfer to Kapam River Lodge and check in. Enjoy lunch and a bit of leisure time before setting out for a late afternoon game drive. Dinner at the lodge this evening.
Kapama Private Game Reserve offers authentic African safari experiences, stretching across 12,000 hectares. Kapama is known for its diverse wildlife experiences and is home to the big five. Private transfer to Mpumalanga Airport for your flight to Livingston. Private transfer to Zimbabwe crossing the Zambian border and onwards to hotel. Check into Llala Lodge. This evening, join your group for a dinner cruise on the Zambezi River. A variety of game is consistently spotted, such as hippo, crocodiles as well as a vast plethora of bird species. Overnight at the Llala Lodge, where you can relax in luxurious style - listening to the meditative rhythm of the Great Zambezi as you drift off to sleep.

Day 10 - Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Depart for a private morning tour of the falls, including lunch at Lookout Cafe and an afternoon Elephant Encounter. Evening at leisure.

Visit the Wild Horizons Elephant Sanctuary and Orphanage -a safe haven to a myriad of orphaned and injured elephants. The elephant encounter will give you the opportunity to unobtrusively interact with some of the biggest personalities in Africa. You will venture out into the bush to spend time with the elephant and the sight of the gentle grey mammals up close and personal.

The Chobe River forms the northern boundary of the Chobe National Park, renowned for its divers and abundant game viewing opportunities. Cancellations: 280 - 121 days prior to departure – loss of deposit(s) per person, 120 – 96 days prior to departure – 65% per person of the total trip cost, 90 - Day of departure/no show - 100% per person of the total trip cost. Amendments: An administration fee of $75 may apply to any changes made to your booking once confirmed, including but not limited to changes in pre/post trip accommodation and transfers. Please note that name changes are not allowed and flight changes are subject to availability and airline policies.
Refunds: No refund is available if cancellations occur after the trip has commenced or in respect to any trips, accommodation, meals or any other services not utilized.
Itinerary Changes & Trip Cancellation: Further Afield Travel and Tours reserves the right to vary itineraries should circumstances dictate, as well as cancel or reschedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements, or circumstances beyond its control. The advertised tours require minimum numbers to depart. Should these not be met, Further Afield Travel and Tours reserves the right to cancel arrangements.

The Travel Director may at his/her discretion, require any person to withdraw from any trip if he or she deems the person’s acts or conduct offensive or a nuisance to other passengers, and we shall have no further liability.
